After which you need to restart your computer so the changes will take effect. Even when you are not prompted to restart, you still need to do so anyway.

 

 

 

3. If uninstalling the adware and/or spyware from your computer through Add/Remove Programs does not work, try removing these using your antivirus software. You will need to run a full or complete scan on your computer and see if the antivirus detects the program then remove it. In order to detect new variants or other types of malware, your antivirus software must be up-to-date. No need to worry if you currently have no antivirus software installed on your PC. 4. There are actually several removal tools online that are free yet successfully remove various types of adware/spyware from your computer. You can use any or all of these tools and allow them to run on your computer: Microsoft Safety Scanner, Malwarebytes, Ad-Adware, and ESET online scanner. You will need to check on the technical specs required for each of these tools for them to work.
